A to Z Wineworks Pinot Noir, Oregon 2015

$18.99 at Crush Wine & Spirits in Bryant, Arkansas (AR)

Black cherry along with an assortment of berries.  Little notes of spice.  Tobacco, vegetal, and red fruit aromas as well.  Blueberry and raspberry flavors are the main flavors on the palate.  Ripe tannins and lively acidity. Touch of mineral.

The 2015 is a blend of the fruit from 70 different vineyards across Oregon and approximately 100 different fermentations.

A to Z Wineworks was created by two couples, Deb and Bill Hatcher and Cheryl Francis and Sam Tannahill.  All four are veterans of the Oregon wine industry.  The winery assists vineyard owners with sustainable farming practices, and uses biodynamic principles to farm all owned or long-leased vineyards. The winery is based in Newberg, Oregon, in the northern Willamette Valley.
