A to Z Wineworks was created 2002 by two couples, Deb and Bill Hatcher and Cheryl Francis and Sam Tannahill. All four are veterans of the Oregon wine industry. The winery assists vineyard owners with sustainable farming practices, and uses biodynamic principles to farm all owned or long-leased vineyards. The winery is based in Newberg, Oregon, in the northern Willamette Valley.
Sourcing across the state from numerous vineyards consistently brings complexity and depth to the wine each vintage. Collectively A to Z has more Oregon winemaking experience than any other winery.
